I guess the same can be said for your area as mine...the price of the Roadie is holding up pretty well. Obviously there are more available there than here, but the price game remains the same. The Roadie is in super high demand in the Atlanta area. Its like as soon as a dealer gets on in, its gone within a few days. If you were looking for a batwing, you would easily be able to knock $3-4k off the asking price of those Roadies you listed. The batwings are a dime a dozen and I believe will remain that way for the foreseeable future. Oh and about the bikes you're looking at....i would go with either of the customs...preferably the Orange.

I'd wait for the 15 models to arrive as the market will come become flooded with used 09 and newer Road Glides. You will have a much better selection to choose from.

What you plan on doing to it dictates which one is right for you. We all know that desires change once you ride the bike but try to find something that already has a fair amount of stuff that you would add as they are basically freebies on a used bike.

I picked up my 2010 RG Custom at the end of May for $16K. Saddleman seat, Helibars, Progressive 944s, D&D FatCat w/Zippers breather. 13K miles. True, it wasn't a dealer, but I'd think anything over $18K is pretty pricey.

And if they announce the '15 RG on Friday, that could mean a glut of used RGs...

Just sayin'.

Just had my chat with the dealer, they sold one of them (Black 2010) last night.

Oh well, I am going to look into the Sedona orange one before I look at the 11 ultra. The dealership with the black custom and the silver ultra was at was not my preference, as the sales staff seems to have a holier than thou attitude.

Hmmm, just called the other dealer to set up a time this evening to get my bike appraised and look at some solid #'s on the Sedona orange one! and it's gone as well.

I guess I'll wait to see what trades come in from the new release.

Told ya. They cant keep them Roadies on the floor. Best bet is when you find one you want, buy it then and there. If you wait two days, it will be gone. Buddy of mine is picking him up a 2012 street glide today...in black denim of course. Why? He looked at a 2011 Roadie in black Denim on Saturday, went home to think about it, and it was gone last nite when he went back after work. The dealer had just put it out on the floor friday nite. They are in high demand...of course, you will never hear batwing guys admit that tho....lol.

I would wait till the 2015's come out.

I would bet that prices on the old style bikes will drop. Just like the Street Glides after 2014

Doubt it. The demand here based on the new photos is not that great. Not many folks willing to trade up for a $5k "infotainment" system and some 255 cams.
