All look too expensive. Look on Cycle Trader and see what you can come up with. Stay away from the HD stealer if possible to get a better deal. This last january I got a 5000 mile 11 RK with ABS for high 13's.
I think you should be able to buy any of those bikes for 16k all day long if you hunt well.
Well I just ck'd Cycle Trader within a few hundred milles of here on a 10 or 11 RG and the best I could find was a custom in Boerne TX with 8000 milles for 17495 so I guess your prices are not too far off, still a bit on the high side tho.
Bought mine in january and that is low sales season, you may be better off to wait until the new bikes come out.
Take your time and research, you will find better deals. Then buy outright or finance the whole bike and sell or consign your bike and get full money for it.
Doubt it. The demand here based on the new photos is not that great. Not many folks willing to trade up for a $5k "infotainment" system and some 255 cams.
Believe it. Lots of batwing folk said the same thing.... Most will change their mind. Just typical.
When the Rushmore bikes dropped I think I counted about a 1000 people on here stating "Yuck! I'll be keeping my 13". OMG what has Harley done!!! Then a few months later about all of them had a 14.
After the 15s drop all the old models will depreciate quickly. Quickly...
Those prices are way high, 2010 roadglide custom lots of extras, 8k miles $ 15,200. That was last April, 2013 keep looking! Check in the classifieds in here and roadglide.org. Cycle trader is full of scammers, buyer beware.
Steelerdude, I've seen the recent threads you've posted and can't blame you for wanting a Road Glide.
Looking at your signature, you've invested quite a bit into your 06 EGC.
Have you considered converting it? You'll keep a bike you already know, have the chance to really make it yours, and you'll still be ahead against the price of something new.
It's not a difficult project and I can email you a parts list, if you're interested. PM me...

I'm all about keeping and upgrading. I wanted a Road Glide a couple of years ago, but couldn't see paying the crazy prices folks were asking. So I made mine, too.

Yes I have considered it, and I have your excell parts list. It's a little more appealing now that there is the matazu inner and outer fairing parts. My only dilemma is my bike has 56,xxx miles, and the old frame. I just wonder how long that investment would feed my need. I am still thinking about it, and had your parts list out recently to review.
