Ive spent the better part of two weeks combing the forum and the internet and i think i have made my decision, ALMOST. I have it narrowed down the to PM Super Gas or the SE Chisel.
Fit, form and function are similar, price is similar for a NEW one.
I like the look of the SE over the PM, BUT the PM has interchangeable faceplates ($70).
The SE leaves the wires exposed. Im ok with that, looks like a machine.
Dealership has the SE in stock, have to order a PM off the internet.
Is there anyone who has had both and can weigh in? Ive read alot about leg clearance issues. I sat on an electra that had the PM, its a little wider than stock, maybe 1/2". Does the SE have a similar dimension?
Buy an Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1(you're really not going to gain any thing more for buying any of the others) for $115 and then put one of these http://www.azece.com/orderairstock.htmon it for about $80.
They're sponsors of this forum.
This way you can eventually have all of your covers matching.
AC, Timer, Derby and Horn cover too if you buy the Arlen Ness stock horn cover.
Looks way more classy if you have all covers matching IMO.
Make sense?
I do like that flexibility lionsm13. I might go with the SE stage one filter over the AN, I read that Arlen Ness filters are made in China.
Seems like Azece makes some quality stuff...
Thanks for the info.
Not at all, mine says "Made in USA" on it.
Arlen Ness couldn't be any more customer friendly either.
Another sponsor of this forum sold me the wrong replacement filter and I called A/N and told them about it and they sent me a "FREE Replacement"
Got nothing but good to say about them!!
