From right where the "y" connector attaches to the triple tree below the fairing. I noticed the drips on the front fender and splater on tank, fairing inner, etc. Anyone else having this problem?
Dealership checked it out and says it's head grease that liquified (from radio heat?) and dribbled down. No paint damage, but it splattered everywhere thanks to the wind.
DOT 4 (what's in most bikes ) is not as corrosive to paint as the older dot 2 and 3.
also the new clear coats withstand it better than the old enamel paint.
But yes it could be a crack in the block or line.
But it could just be the copper banjo washers need replaced.
Only a close observation will tell for sure.
But a good set of aftermarket stainless steel would be a good way to go.
