3 years ago I bought my first new motorcycle in many years. Always had old stuff and still do. Love old bikes.
Anyway my 2011 RK was an awesome machine!
Like many of us I have been interested in the Rushmore bikes since they came out.
Earlier this week my local dealer gave me a trade in offer for a 2014 Limited that I couldn't refuse. I loved my RK and was a bit worried I would miss it. A few days on the Limited and I know I made the right decision. This bike is fantastic!
Congrats on the new ride and like you I was worried whether I made right decision or not but after a 300 mile ride last Saturday I knew I was better than ok. I love my limited more every time I ride it !
Harley must have invented a "Gotta buy" aroma which they spray in all the dealerships. I heard so many people doing the exact thing you did...I'm including myself! We go into the dealership to buy a hat or T-shirt and end up driving out with a new bike. Great choice and enjoy!
Congrats and that is great you are happy with your decision. It looks like you have many bikes to choose from so you don't always have to ride the limited. I haven't rode one yet, a little scared to because mine is a 13. I do really like my 13, it spoils the crap out of me and I only jump on the Heritage because I feel I should to justify its existence. Although I really enjoy the Heritage for its looks, sound and cool factor, the ride and comfort isn't close.
