So do you have to send a picture of your Rushmore title to get a link to the section? I can't see anything on my toolbars to take me to Rushmore models.
Lots of regular touring threads in the Rushmore forum. Shut it down or moderators need to move non Rushmore threads over to Touring-or shut down Touring.
Two Touring forums is unnecessary and is kind of tacky.
I like having both sections fwiw. This way I can see a concentrated effort and info on rushmores and also check out the older bikes. I do look at both sections often.

I agree with the "stickies" comment earlier for the Rushmores. Other than that, they are Touring Harleys..just a new generation of a long lasting model. I browse both touring sections and regularly find answers in both, not to mention the information in the General chat section.
On the other hand, I can see why the Rushmore section was created...kinda like 'Vette forums, where they break them up by generation. edit: Not saying I agree.
As far as folks looking down on others, all groups have portions that we wish would go away. It's an open forum. We shouldn't care what anyone rides, just respect the fact that they ride.

Exactly. If I have a rushmore question or issue its much easier with separate forums
I like the separate forums,, I mostly read the forums for information and to waste time lol. My touring bike is a 2001 so there are rarely any threads or topics on that old of bike. I still checkout the rushmore section,,,might buy a used one someday.
I browse both sections daily and even though I have a Rushmore, I find more information that pertains to a touring bike in general in the Touring section.
The Rushmore section seems to have a lot of threads that don't have as much to do with my Road King, as it does about the fairing bikes.
That's not to say there isn't some things that are Rushmore specific and to do with all of them, but not all 14's have Infotainment, GPS, Tour packs, lowers, etc.
So that being said, it doesn't really matter to me personally whether there is a separate section or not.
I find I spend most of my time in the regular Touring section.
