Not a touring seat
I just got back from a 2431 mile trip.
I have a 2012 Street Glide with the Bagger Werks drop frame kit....
That seat that came with it is not for touring believe me....
I sent an e-mail to Allen at Mean city cycles to see if they can help me out.
We left El Paso at 0445 and got rained on for the first hr....And at 1430 when we hit Blythe CA we got our Brains fried in 107 heat....The outside pool felt like it was heated....LOL

before a long trip, a few 300/400 miles loops are great way to figure out what needs changing.
Those at Sturgis will notice the dealer doing a huge business in seats and windscreens.
they also bring in used touring models from all over and sell them to guys who did the 1st leg on a street bike

Hey Griff......I have the exact same setup....2012 flhx with the bagger werx drop seat kit..(and the WO12.5's)....looks like you stole my bike!.....lol....I know this is an old thread, but I was curious if you ever got an answer from Mean City?
He hasn't posted here since July so he may not see this unless he subscribed to the thread. May want to send him a PM, or just call Mean City yourself 1-866-550-SEAT. Alan and company are very helpful and have made happy customers out of many here in the forum.
