Another Deer

Wife and I had put about 280 miles on the bike. Beautiful day and heading home about 4 PM. Damn doe steps right out in front of use and stops. The only thing to do was lock up the brakes and hit the thing broadside. Next thing I know wife and I are laying along side the road, and there's a dead deer by us. We were very lucky. I spent 3 days in hospital, as I have 4 fractured ribs and a collapsed lung, along with the bruises and road rash. Wife is banged up and road rash also. Haven't seen the bike yet, dealer is waiting on insurance adjuster.

Hang in there and hope you heal quickly and get back on the horse soon. Question, do you have ABS? Would it have helped?
