Default What size trailer?

I have a 2007 Roadglide and my wife has a 2009 Dyna Low. I am looking for an enclosed trailer. I don't know what size I need. I know some are going to say ride it to destination, but we have a 6 year old that falls asleep after 3 hours. We want to take the bikes on a long distant vacations and ride there. Also does the different weights effect on how to load?

I would go at least 7x12. You may be able to squeeze them both into a 6x12 because the Dyna doesn't have a fairing, but it will be close. They will have to be staggered. I would put the heavier bike up front.

Myself, I'd go with a 7 or 8 foot trailer and put the light bike forward and the heavier bike over the axle. That'l give you better weight distribution and keep your headlights off the clouds.

I have an 8x16 enclosed that I haul my RG and one other of my bikes...I wish I had paid the extra cash for the 8x20'...it would make it so much easier to load bikes and gear.

Will a single street glide fit on a 4x8 trailer? I'm thinking it might be a bit too short.
