Default brake line replacement

My local indy shop replaced my upper brake line. I ask them why they did not bled the brakes at the front caliper bleeder screw. They said they don't bleed it at that location, they bled it at the module.

Is this possible or just a horse chit?

Air rises so they need to bleed it at the highest point to ensure they get all air out

When changing upper brake line on ABS bike, I avoid pushing air through the module which could cause an error requiring Harley Digital Tech service to fix. Using a turkey injector with a clear tube; I reverse bleed... pushing dot 4 in through the caliper forcing air out through master cylinder.

But if you follow the brake lines from the front brake calipers, the lines do not terminate at the master cylinder. My bike is 2012 roadking classic

The line from the calipers goes back to the ABS module back under the right side cover. The "proper " way to bleed ABS is to have the dealer use the Dt. If the bike was not turned on while they changed the line you can bleed it at the caliper. Did mine like that without issue. Turing the bike in will cycle the ABS and cause air to get in the ABS box. Reverse bleeding will work too but mine are still super stiff after I bled them at the caliper.

Not sure about ABS systems so I cant comment but I have to ask if anyone knows if a DT and breakout boxes are available to buy and how much they run?
