With that compression.
**NEW** Low-End/midrange grind, designed for factory 96",103", 110" motors. Works especially well in heavier bikes with lower compression
Click dyno charts and scroll down. It's the last one.
I've seen that dyno sheet, but that is the only one I've ever seen. I'd probably do it with out heads. My goal is maximum low end torque, I'm not sure the level B heads would be a worth the extra cost with that build.
I've talked to Jaime about this and he said he sells some of their kits with the TW-222 but they haven't tuned one at their shop.
Right now, I'm also running the Rinehart extreme true duals. I'd switch out the exhaust with a nice 2-1 as well...
I tuned and rode a 09 Ultra with 103 stage 4 with cnc SE heads and 10.5 compression. Bike already had 222 in 96. Very impressive performance gain over the 96 which only had stage 2 with true duals and the TW222. Tuned real easy with PV and no ping. If I was going with 10.25 up compression and heads and 107 I would go with the TW777. It would still have plenty of low end. The 222 would be better to 2500 maybe. The 107 kit that FM builds works great with any of the TW222, 555, or 777 or 888's. 888's and 777's are little high on duration for what you describe you want. Don't be afraid to put compression on the 222's from what I have seen in more than one application. Even the SE204 will respond to compression real well.
Some headwork w slightly larger intake valve, new guides etc, w a little more compression would be a better bang for the buck. Use the money saved to bolt on a 31 tooth pulley.....
I've got the Wood TW-222 cams in my '12 RGC. I've been thinking about upgrading the jugs and pistons to a 107 with 10.25 compression.
Anybody running a TW-222 cam in a 107? I'd like to see a dyno sheet on your engine if you do.
Thanks.
That would not be my choice of cams for a 107. If your going to spend money on doing a 107 you should do a cam change. I would get the compression up to 10:8 and run the 777.
