Default FXCW to FLH

The army moved me across the country to prime riding land, Vancouver Island. But I couldnt bring my FXCW with me, moving company **** a brick when they saw it (And I miss it so much), but it gives me a chance to move up to a "Family" Bike.

Am I gonna regret this?

Simple answer...no. You will love it. I came from the sport bike world and bought a street glide... I can't ride it enough.

You will not regret it ONE bit and you will be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner.

there are all kinds of ways to ship a bike...

or you can jump into a new ride- touring bikes are fun and will be great on the roads up there, but a lighter bike will be faster, lean better and brake better without worrying about the brakes fading or the rotors warping.

yes, I have a touring bike, but I also have other models, some of which are "on the edge" at sub-legal speeds, some of which will knock the eyeballs to the back of your head- some go fast in a straight line, some go fast around corners, .... and some are comfy for 10 hour days

only you can determine what makes the best sense for you.

BC has some great riding, most of it is bendy

Sounds like a good excuse for a cross country trip, either on your current bike or your new bagger. You will hate it out here, nobody has bikes and there is nowhere to ride them and it rains everday...
