I rode a new Street Glide a few weeks ago. My dealer was kind enough to let me take it for a 10 mile ride on the freeway.I was impressed with the bike overall. I felt it had more power, smoother shifting andbetter brakes than my '99 Road King. I also liked the higher gearing and the six gears. I didn't care for the cut down windshield, My RK has Electra Glide bars, a tall boy seat and stage I. I love my RK but I thought the '07 was an all around better bike. I was reallythinking about a new Electra Glide until I started hearing about all the problems some folks are having. Now I think maybe I'll build my engine and add a six speed trans. I want to rent the new EG Classic for a day and see.
