Default Stop Light Trigger Devices

I bought one of these magnets and to be honest, I don't think that it does "Jack****".
Does anyone know for a fact that they work or don't.

The stop lights in my area that are wired for a trigger device is called an Opticon. It utilizes a strobe type light to trip them. The fire trucks, ambulances, and police vehicles have these devices installed.

Just as I thought-"SUCKER"!

Oh well, it only cost me about $15.00. Anybody need to buy a magnet for their Fridge? I will sell it cheap, $15.00 plus shipping and handeling! lol
Thanks Guys.

Would have been a lot cheaper to have done a search here. This topic has been covered quite a bit.

If you put the jiffy stand down to the ground it'll trigger the light, just remember to put it back up.

BG Weasel,
Thanks for the comment, but as you can see I am new to the forum. Not to computer savvy. Just trying to learn a few things.
But thanks for your insight!

The road maintenance guys fixed the sensor...

If you see thesensor box cutin the roadway, stop your bike over the seam with the front tire at the far corner... Works every time for me and I'm magnet free.
