front wheel instal torques '08 RK
I'm changing the front tire on my friend's '08 RK and don't have a service manual for it. He has always used the stealer. Can someone check the torques for me? BTW, he got 21,000 to 22,000 miles on the OE front and still has tread left.
From my '02 manual:
6.While holding axle stationary,
tighten axle nut to 50-55 ft-lbs (68-75 Nm).
8. Pull fork leg so that it just contacts drill bit, and then
tighten axle holder nuts to 11-15 ft-lbs (15-20 Nm).
Caliper mtg bolts are 28-38 on mine.

And no drillbit. Push the lower leg in against the spacer while tightening the axle clamp nuts
