I want a nice looking seat for the Street Glide for around town. Passenger comfort is not a factor as I have other seats t use when Cheryl is along. I'm looking for something that has some style. In doing a search I'm surprised at how hard it is to find a variety of seats. It almost seems as if one or 2 makers build them all.
So far I'm on this seat - it's the basic style I want
Mustang Fastback Tuck and Roll
I like some of the other seats I have seen like the Roland Sands 2 up Boss and Enzo and the Harley Custom seats. But so far, no seat has been that "It" seat for me.
Check out C&C Seats. You can have them custom made with almost any type of material and design you choose. I must add that their Customer Service is EXCELLENT.
I can almost guarantee you that you can't have a good looking seat that is also comfortable. But in all fairness you said around town so you might find some thing that will work. I spent $300.00 dollars in restocking , and return shipping fees trying to find that good looking and comfortable seat for me and a passenger. Finally gave up and went back to the old sundowner. I won't say any brand names that I tried, but there were several and they were big names in the seating industry. that had to be one of the most frustrating things I have ever done, GOOD LUCK and I do mean that.
If you live near a dealership check out the demo seats most have available. They are free to try and you can figure what seat style you want.

Mustang Vintage solo seat w/drivers backrest. HD Detachable solo rack.
I personally like the look of a solo seat since you aren't worried about a passenger in this case. I went with the Mustang Diamond Wide Tripper with backrest. It is certainly not a long range seat, but for riding around town it is fine. I also have a Sundowner for longer trips with a passenger, but 90% of the time, I just use my solo seat.
