I bought a set of vivid black side covers a couple weeks ago. The listing said "2014 take off at the dealer, never used." When they came in the mail I could tell they were not close to never used. The date code on the back was 2009. I buffed them out and they look new now but what a liar. I started to make a issue out of it just because I hate liars but didn't have the time and I got a good deal.
I just bought a set of CVO (style) saddlebags (left and right side)with OEM lids already installed and everything painted fresh Vivid black. Took over a week for the seller to finally ship and when it got here it was just one side, I had to go back and re-read the account. It says for a pair, and says left and right side. I've been trying to get a hold of the seller but haven't heard back yet, he still has a week according to ebay to ship the other side before I can file a complaint and get my money back. The side I did get fit's great and matches perfect. I did leave the worst feed back rating you can leave, he was 100% so I figured that might motivate him to get me the stuff he put up for sale.
You would think if there was an issue like he dropped one that he would have contacted me an said there would be a delay?
I do buy a lot off ebay and normally have great luck.
