I bought a 2000 RK with 27,000 miles. I bought it at the local HD dealer. The first couple of weeks, bike had zero leaks but now it has started to leak oil by the kickstand and at first it was a drop, then 2 and now the puddle is about the size of a baseball. The dealer did an oil change and I am wondering if bike was being fed regular oil and by dealer switching to syn3 could be causing the leak? (I have heard of cars leaking after switching to synthetic).
Could be left over from the oil filter change, that drops down on the front motor mount, or it could be coming from the stator plug clean it up, and then ride some more to find it.

I did notice a lot of "grease/grime" built up around the stator and plug area when I routed my clutch cable. Will clean it and ride it to see
Check the Transmission Cover on the opposite side of the bike. Common for oil leak to from these. 5 or 6 allen head screws have a habit of working loose and leaking. Because bike is leaning on stand oil runs across bottom of bike and drips on floor.
Another option would be to wipe the underside of Bike with a clean dry rag. Put some flour or powder in the area and wait and see if it washes away. Kinda like the joke about dipping an oversized women in flour to find the wet-spot. You should see a trail in the powder. Follow it back to the source. A good start would be to determine which oil level is going down.
You might also want to check to make sure the oil filter is secure and no leaks there.
Inner primary seal maybe. Those early Twin Cams are good for it. My 2002 is leaking right now. I'm not fixing it until winter.
Get down under the bike on the left side. Shine a light up behind the primary drive where the clutch housing is. If you see oil running down the back of the primary its one of three things.
Inner primary bearing seal
Shifter shaft seal
Trans shaft seal
The third one is a little more work than the first two.
