No more Bagger
No criticism here. Sounds like you had a bad bike. There are a ton of pre 09 bikes out there that ride just fine. But, there's no denying that a bunch of folks have had issues. I don't blame you for changing up the game and going Softail. At least you didn't trade it in on a Victory!
I like the Fatboy. Awesome bike. I know a guy (forum member) has one and he has a removable batwing he uses now and then. Looks great with or without the wing. Best of both worlds. I also hear you can make improvements to the ride. Check around on the Softail forum.

Well Good Bye. If I remember your previous posts, your RK was a used 2006 model that you purchased and then tried to reinvent the frame, suspension and every thing else. Why do you think Harley redesigned the complete frame, etc in 2009.They had a problem that was related to frame flex if you rode the bike aggressively. Now that is past history and if you don't want to pay the money for a newer model,it is time to move on to another forum.
I have a '10 Street Glide so I've never experienced this "wobble" everyone speaks about. Can someone describe it?
Also, ssgholl, I came to the touring side from an '08 FXSTB Softail Night Train (it was stolen) and can tell you that the best way to solve any Softail suspension roughness is the Shotgun Shock. Head over to the Softail section here and type "shotgun shock" in the search bar. You'll read about folks RAVING about it.

Like was said. Your money enjoy the next bike . On a side note I have had 89-14s wobble .
Fixed every single one of them with a little work and no cash. If tires are good it's just crappy mechanics or guys that think they need to reengineer with the latest wobble magic fix. Drop the triple trees. Replace bearing and races. Set bearings pretty tight...screw the fall away. Drop all the engine links and dropped drive belt. Line it all up. Mr wiggles goes away. Most guys won't pay a tech ,Indy or mechanic the 4-8 hours it takes. They rather throw tons of cash on stabilizers and quick fix do dads ......it doesn't work. Lmao.
