Quick Detach Installation
Just got the 53303-07 quick detach kit. Fitment says it should fit FLHTC up to 2008. The kit includes 53804-06 which is the docking kit. This kit says:
Anyone else find that odd?
I'm assuming it fits my 2008 FLHTC since its part of the 53303-07 kit.
Fits all '97 - Later touring models except FLHTC/I, AND FLHTCUI.

When that kit was made, the '09 and later models might have not been produced yet. What is the date of manufacture on the box?
It should fit your '08. The fender changed for the '09 model.
