Default Another great forum weekend

I was just thinking how life would suck without forums for those that like to do there own work.

So here is a BIG Thank You for all of those folks here that have taken the time to post pictures and write ups.

Venders should be very happy I live in small town where not a lot of Harley folks do there own work or think outside of what Harley dealers tell them, without this forum I would never have known about fuel moto , biketronics, and many others, Not to mention having the guts to replace bars install cams anyhow those that come here to learn no what I mean and those that post the how too's I thank.

This is how I do all things bye the way trucks, motorcycle, snowmobile, home repairs .The internet is GREAT

FLYINGBROKE : I agree with you 100% I've tackled jobs I would not have thought about trying until the internet. Yes I also owe a big THANK YOU the folks that post on HDForums!! I've save tons of cash doing things myself with help from our forum friends.

couldn't agree any more with both of you! it started with all of the help on HD forums and learning from all of the guys and gals on here....now I'm servicing all of my families vehicles at home!!! Not to mention the money savings...it just makes you appreciate your stuff that much more.

I've never met anybody from HDforums in person yet...but there are definitely some 'go to' guys that I couldn't have done anhything without.

Agreed!! I've learned more about Touring motorcycles here than anywhere. I have been able to do some work myself, both saving money and instilling confidence. My thanks to all who share their knowledge and experience.

Ditto above. From these forums, on a Harley I've owned for a little over a month...I tackled a successful front fork oil change and, more importantly, learned how to fix front mushy brakes by cleaning up the front caliper pistons and pumping them out/freeing them up.
About an hour or so worth of work, better handling and safer bike...and more money in my pocket to put in the gas tank for miles on the road.

Lots of information on this forum...and the members here are great. No holier than thou or jerks (well, that I've run into anyways...lol).
Thanks...a bunch!!

Totally agree.

Gotten out of some tight spots thanks to this forum and have also spent a ton of money because of this forum.

A lot of really knowledgeable guys on this site ( and a few not so much)

Half the mods I have made I probably never would have even heard about without this site.

A lot of vendors probably wouldnt be in business or would have a lot less without this forum.

For example, I love my C and C seat but who would ever heard about a small independent seat maker in California when you live in Canada?

The useful info and good guys make up for the handful of buttwipes.
