Default Freedom Shields CVO Road King Wind Splitter 22" Replacement Shield - Medium Grey - New

I have a Freedom Shields windshield for a CVO Road King that I’m looking to sell. This plastic is a direct fit to the Harley-Davidson CVO brackets used for their Wind Splitter P/N 57400176 shield, using the same grommets and fasteners. It offers much more protection than the short, oem vented plastic, and is not only thicker, but of much higher quality. I just purchased the shield from Freedom Shields and installed it on my 2014 FLHR a couple of days ago. I’m 6’2” and more trunk than leg and sit really tall. I currently run a 24” Clearview shield. I bought this shield looking for a sleeker, more aerodynamic appearance, hoping that the 22” height would work for me. It didn’t. If I hunch down 2”, I find a perfect quiet spot in the bubble - but can’t ride around with a hunched back. Anyway, my loss is your gain. I’m extremely meticulous and was very careful installing and removing the shield from the brackets. I can’t return it because I removed the plastic film when I installed it, thinking it was going to work. My test ride was only around the block, just under 2 miles, so it’s brand new. I immediately removed the shield and carefully wrapped it in loads of bubblewrap and double-boxed it for shipping. I’ll also throw in a set of 6 new replacement grommets. This Freedom Shield is 22” tall and medium grey. The shade is a perfect balance - dark enough to look sleek, yet clear enough to look through. This setup closely hugs the contours of the bike and is more aerodynamic, as opposed the upright position of the standard Road King shield. The plastic shield and grommets are all that are included. $165 shipped to your door

Below is a picture of the shield mounted on my FLHR (black) the day that I installed it, along with a few sample pictures from John at Freedom Shields of another customer’s bike with the same style/size shield mounted. Do your research to determine fitment. If you search Harley-Davidson’s online store under the Wind Splitter Vented Windshield P/N 57400176, they list all of themachinesthat this shield will fit.
