Default What went wrong? HELP!!!!
After changing Clutch cable old shiney will not start by holding in clutch handle what did I do wrong? bad adjustment or what? HELP!!!!

Take a look at your micro switch in the clutch lever housing.....

+1 on switch. Safety so bike won't lunge forward when Trying to start if in gear

Thanks for the quick response I found my problem! I really appreciate all the help. This was my first clutch cable install learning process thanks again. Ride safely fearless

So, what did you find?? Was it the microswitch?

Thumbs up Clutch perch
The entire malfunction was my inexperience in re-installing the Clutch assembly on the new handle bar. I did not have the clutch perch firmly seated on the switch assembly therefore it would not actuate the micro switch. Received numerous responses with possible fixes.
Sorry should have posted fix before I've been really busy at work our Co. is solo Co. Hauling water to a Frac. in West Virginia. busy very busy I'm the Safety Manager Ride safely fearless
