Help w/Clutch lever

Looking for info on getting the clutch lever off the handle bars. How do you relieve the preassure from the clutch cable. I am replacing them with new chrome levers.

Loosen the clutch cable adjuster. Take care with the brake switch on right side.

Down on the front of the frame is the cable adjustment. Turn that to increase the play in the clutch cable. Up on the switch assembly that holds the clutch lever is the hinge pin. Remove the circlip from the bottom side of the pin, push the pin up them pull it out from the top and you should be able to slide the clutch handle out of the assembly. The rest should be obvious. Assemble your new chrome handles in the reverse order. Leave a little bit of play in the clutch cable adjuster so you aren't slipping your clutch. You shouldn't have to mess with the actual clutch adjustment inside the primary.
