Hello, I joined a couple weeks ago in the new members section and thought I would do the same here. I just got my new 16 Tri last Friday and now have 470 miles on it. Had lunch today with Trikerjim at Westfield, WI (he rode east & I rode west), great day to ride and saw lots of bikes on the road.
I traded in a 13 Switchback on the Tri. I liked the Switch a lot and it fit me well, but my wife was never comfortable on it (hip & knee issues), so she did not ride with me much the last 2 years. Saw how well trikerjim was getting along on his Tri, rented one for a half day and wife had no issues. So the trade was made.
Have not run over my feet yet, so that is positive! Followed the book on break in and about done with that now. Getting the hang of the steering and the TBW. Had dealer install lift kit, luggage rack, rider & passenger highway pegs in the deal. Have see a lot of good info and tips here and looking forward to joining the party!
