Reverse was going for the past two weeks. Yesterday, it died. Went to
dealer today. Service looked at it, flipped the breaker, still nothing. Went inside and ordered a new motor with the extended warranty. Said it should be in within a week or so. Told me just the motor without the warranty would have been $1500. plus an hour labor. Got my warranty money in one shot, and still covered until 2019!!
When I had my 2011 Triglide, the reverse motor fell off during a trip. Cost then was $1300 plus labor. Luckily I was still under warranty. That was one of the main reasons I bought the extended warranty on my 2013
I also opted for the extended warranty and the 3 year service plan. It cost tons of money for service if you do not have it. Especially for the scheduled services. 1k service at my dealership is $450. Then every 2500 after that. It can add up quick!
