The warranty on my FLRT expires in less than a month. The trike runs well but I am curious as to why the left exhaust outlet discolors. The dealership that performed its first major service said nothing about this concern. When I pointed it out to the service manager, I was told this was normal. I have nothing in writing that I reported this while under warranty. Should I be concerned?
If it rubs off, its from the exhaust gases, blue coloured from heat won't rub off. Its likely from too rich a mixture or oil usage. For whatever reason that side is flowing more exhaust.
