Starting problems
I read that post also and later he posted an update with verbage from the moco saying using a jump start pack was ok. Can't find it now but I'll keep looking. I think some of the 'fried' electronics was from trying to attach positive cable lead to the starter motor post and touching something that caused a spark. Using a jump pack direct to the battery (I have a pig tail on the battery to connect my jump start pack so I don't have to remove the seat) should not cause damage imo. Heck I even jumped a friend's 2023 TG using the positive to the starter motor post and caused no problem.
Just my $.02 here but I doubt that "jumping" a bike with a hand held start box or using jumper cables hooked to a car battery would cause harm to the bike as long as the car/truck engine is NOT running.
A battery that has a "dead cell" can act very strangely and sometimes just attaching the jumper cables up to it for a minute or so (and them unhooking them before attempting to start the bike) will make the battery crank the bike and start it but IF that doesn't work I'd go the normal route.
Having a "pig tail" attached directly to the battery is a great idea since removing the seat and the crap on top of the battery can be a real PIA but I wouldn't even consider using the battery charging pig tail that comes from the factory as it is NOT wired directly to the battery.

I said, "Another thing to think about, depending on the year or your trike, HD does NOT recommend "jumping" the battery on a '24 and newer because of the ECM etc."
What I was thinking was, do not jump start via the starter terminals and a common ground. BUT meant to say, only at the battery. This IS consistent with HD and their own jump pack for newer models.
Here's a video from a very respected vlogger on Harleys.
Hope this helps. I know nothing about all the new ECM's all over the bikes now a days, but I know my new Ford F-350 driver's seat didn't adjust correctly and had to have a new "seat ECM". Who knew seats had ECM's...
