Thanks for all the encouragement.
I got a call from the sales manager this afternoon (they are open Sundays). He says he found one at another dealer that would swap with him & could be obtained this week. Only problem was it had already had some extras put on it & would cost about $2k more. He's supposed to get a list sent to him of the extras but knew it was Screaming Eagle slash down mufflers, AC, download, and tourpack rack but nothing more specific than that. I'm supposed to hear exactly what from him by Tuesday & let him know if I want it. Does this sound like a rip off or an okay deal? I value you guys opinions.

If you dont mind traveling; shop around because there are definitely deals to be had. There is a recession, it is winter and if a bike is sitting on a showroom floor in the snow belt collecting dust and accumulating floor planning charges, I suspect that any good business person would be willing to deal! There is NO law that says that you have to buy from the local dealer!
Thanks for all the encouragement.

You didn't mention what model the dealer had. I'm going to make an assumption that it wasn't the TG Ultra since a tourpak was added. But I'm wondering, would slip-ons, AC, flash, and tourpak really add up to $2K? Maybe they are adding a lot of labor charges also?
It is a FLHTCUTG model. Since it is a dealer swap I'm sure it would be full retail on the parts. Here's my breakdown:
slash down SE mufflers $370 plus clamps $15
ventilator AC $240
download $150
tour pack rack $180
total $955 parts
labor 3~4 hours @$75 = $300 max
Sounds like if this is all it shouldn't be over $1300.
There's got to be more included. I'm supposed to hear from him today with the exact list. I'll post it then.
(Also I'd better be getting the take off parts for possible resale)

Just got off the phone with the dealer. It's the standard stage I AC, not the ventilator, chrome slash down SE mufflers, stage I download, and tour pack rack. My cost is $1184 before discounts, not $2k. I told him to proceed. Should have it this weekend.
