I had that happen to me right after I got the new trike. Back to Harley and they showed me how to reset the box, they also showed all of their sales people also so I didn't feel so bad.
Thanks everyone it is up and running.I did not see the black lever beside the red button. That is the reset.Closed the lever and reverse is back on.
thanks again,
T K
This is something I don't understand. There are two resets for reverse? A lever and a red button? I'm too lazy right now to run out and pull my right cover. So what's the deal on this?

Correct me if I'm wrong but all that Red Button is for is to brake the electrical current to the reverse motor. Say that your reverse motor was stuck in reverse mode (hot motor), hitting the red button will brake the current to the electric motor. Push the black flag in will reset the electrical current to the reverse motor.

Thanks Butch! I DID have that happen to me once. I backed up a small grade. When I started forward in 1st, I had a lot of resistance. Seemed like motor still engaged but there was no way I could have gotten off the trike and push that button. It eventually broke free after rolling forward about 10 '. Reverse has been OK ever since though.

Ya I had the same thing happen to me a couple times.
