I like the sound of the Rhineharts, a friend has them on his Ultra but they do get a little loud for my ears so I may look at the SE Super Traps like Boom is showing. On the 09 Street Glide, we have the quiet baffle, it is close in loudness to stock at idle but still makes some noise under acceleration. The TriGlide has me thinking I want a more finished end cap look compared to the slash cut on the Street Glide. So many choices and I will have to get the wife's opinion sine it is sort of going to be hers when we do it.
Lucky for us, Fuel moto is not far away so it is sort of easy to go look at options.
Take a look a Jamie's Dyno tuned mufflers with the quiet bafffle. We have found them to be very nice with no obnoxious tone. They also integrate very nicely with his stainless headers. We opted for the optional billet tips, that we scraped while unloading the bike at Doc's. I Called Jamie and he offered to refinish them at no charge. Not his fault, but how can you beat that kind of customer service?
Buddy,
The Jackpot Dyno Tuned with the quiet baffle is what we have on our 09 Street Glide and I agree, they are about right. I plan to remove the quiet plug to see how they sound as it is supposed to be about mid way between full quiet and no quiet baffle at all.

Stone,
Did you keep the stock baffle when the quiet was installed? You are going to need some back pressure.
Yes we kept the stock baffle and bought the complete quiet baffle. From what I understand, with the quiet baffle, the center plug can be removed so the baffle and back pressure is still in place but you get a sound half way between the regular Jackpots and using the complete quiet baffle so you can end up with 3 different sound levels.
Now if we could just get rid of the cold and snow. It is the spring Flood Run here but woke up with 2 inches of snow and it is staying cold so it is not melting much. Even our 10 day extended is only showing 40s for a high. Yuk!
If anyone is wondering, it was not warm today but I had to go outside and play with the mufflers. I removed the quiet plug from the quiet baffle. I liked it better with the plug in and it went back in. It was louder and there was more popping when backing off the throttle with out the plug. The quiet baffle seems to be the best sound ever for my sensitive ears; a nice deep tone when you accelerate and at idle a loudness level close to stock.

Glad you tried it, so I didn't have to. Leaving ours alone!! Thanks for sharing.
Buddy....
Have the quiet baffle sitting in my garage waiting for me to install. Just got back from the Outer Banks Rally and my wife complained about the noise the whole time, so I guess I'd better get it installed.
I put the 211 cams, stage 2 air and race tuner in my 09 and the first time I got on it at a red light I snaped one of my upper mount bolts right off.
Did you bump the compression up some when you installed the 211 cams? I'm surprised it hit that hard at the bottom because the SE211 cams normally don't come alive until about 3,000 rpm with about 10:5.1 compression.
Good news. My selling dealer Frieze Harley Davidson ordered my damaged parts for me and since the bike was OK to ride we decided to wait until my 5000 mile check up to change the parts. The dealer fixed all with no charge and no complaints. I am a happy camper.
