You are correct, still isn't right. This morning I'm using my desktop which is not using NoScript and I keep getting hung up on the script for Facebook. I just finished installing NoScript and problem solved for me, they need to rethink the scripting for Facebook because obviously there is problems with the server their trying to connect to.

I've got a new computer coming in the next few days. Will see if it gets better. Doubt it tho as I have the same issue on my laptop.

I just downloaded a browser Fire Fox. It has helped allot with speed. As I am not a computer guy, I have no idea why it is better, it just is better.

This site tonight is the worst that I've seen it. It kind of reminds me of watching paint dry between screens.

The more scripts they run which connect to or require some feedback from some other site the more chance something is going to go wrong. They have a lot going on when this site loads and some of it will throw a wrench in to the works when they connect to another site which has problems. After being told the site doesn't connect to Facebook yet when I trapped what scripts the site was running and found a Facebook link I had to resort to self help to speed up the loading of this site. Once I killed the Facebook script things perked right up.
