I think I bought the siren in May /12. I would have to check my records. I said it was just for the trikes, but it was probably for all systems it just included the mod for the trikes I suspect .
I think I would take it back and tell them MAKE IT WORK RIGHT ! The way everyone has to do all kinds of things just to make things work isn't right ! Not how it is designed to do !

It's not a problem with my dealer. Before I bought the part I explained the situation to them, and to expect a return. Just out of curiosity, when you get the chance, could you see what the model number is on the smart siren itself. I think you can see the number with just pulling the side cover. I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Excuse the Last part # .that came from the box. The one on the siren is Model # 68970-06A, Security System Smart Siren II. It has the antenna wire and side plug for the hook-up.
Maybe this number is findable.

That's the one I had picked up. I wonder if there was a special ECM update. Though mine is a 2012, the build date is Aug 2011.

My system seems to be a bit different from other systems for some reason, in that it cancels the turn signals just as if it has a tilt sensor. Maybe they started leaving it in just to match up the alarm system.
Does yours cancel, or does it just time out. That seems to be the only thing that was changed according to everyone else. I don't know where it was located, nor a wiring manual. Harley seems to not have them out for some reason. I have had them ordered since March, and only have the trike supplement so far.

Might be an update, mine wasn't enabled when I received the bike . They had failed to activate the key fobs. They had it for a day, and might have updated something. They didn't say anything about it. That was in March, or 1st of April./12.

There shows to be a sensor (BAS) located under the seat and behind the battery according to the Trike supplement. I don't know if it is there or not, just looking at the book. It might just be a motion sensor.
Yep They are showing a Bank Angle Sensor on the trikes. So It should be the same as 2 wheels. Just it don't lean , it just acts like a pendulum and swings ....
