What are you running on oil temps? But you have that second cooler still don't ya ?
Ride Safe !
Yeah, still running the second oil cooler. Also running the PV now with a basic auto-tune. Also running the Wards Parts Werks CVS fans.

I believe the EITMS pulls the temp off the front cylinder only...wish it were off the rear, but it is what it is.

Which ones are the WPW fans?

My tri runs about 270 unless I am riding in heavy rain. Would like to cool it down a tad.

[QUOTE=Mr. Wizard;11366887]Had a typo in my post Dennis...

Should have read, a sensor for Head Temp doesn't exist.

My 1980 RT had a temp sensor on the rear cyl top fin by the exhaust. Readings vary a lot depending on speed (load) and wind direction. Normal running was around 425 but a good side wind would drop it 30-40 deg.

+! on what Mike stated. I'm also running Redline 20-60 in my engine due to the high ambient air temps here in SW Florida

Kevin,

When the '12 tri is warmed up I average around 230 on the fairing oil temp gauge while moving. I have not hooked up my laptop to the super tuner yet to check head temps.

I have the h-d chrome engine fan, stock oil cooler, stage 1 air cleaner, SE mufflers and a super tuner. I am not going to jump into the calibrations until I've removed the cat.

Kevin,
Maybe M3 or the Wiz will chime in. I think M3 has shot some cylinder head temps with an infra red gun and uses the TTS. It maybe me, But I do not think the TTS logs head temps when doing V-Tune runs.
