I looked it up.

'08-'16 TCs have it and '17-present, all M8s have it, so, no, the OPs 110" Dyna does not have it. I guess I could have looked it up before asking.

Not sure where you looked it up but I'd bet only TBW bikes have it. "'08-'16 TCs" seems to imply that a 08-16 dyna would have it.

I am a speed reader and missed a detail; '08-'16 Touring models with TC motors. The OP's Dyna is a '17 model with TC motor so I don't think he has EITMS.

Apologies to the OP for the side track.

Probably a little more OT. I would question whether that article is even correct. The 16 and 17 softails were Throttle by Wire. I wouldn't be surprised if they had EITMS. Notice that the first touring model with it was 08 which is the same as the first year TBW for touring.

Also they are incorrect here:
and then proceeds to act as a “air pump” to cool the engine.
It doesn't act as a air pump to cool the motor, It cuts the rear cylinder to cut heat from the exhaust pipe. Rider comfort. The cylinder ain't pumping anything cuz the throttle is pretty mush closed.

It's kind of like rags claiming that the cooling oil from the cylinder heads feeds into the tranny on the M8s.

Well ****. I was just trying to figure out if the OP's bike was EITMS equipped and it went sideways but I am pretty sure the OP's bike is not EITMS equipped and I don't care about any of the others. I am down to one bike, '05 FXSTD, and will probably never own anything newer. Maybe a bigger motor some day but, for now, the old Deuce is quite adequate.
