just completed a cam upgrade on my streetbob, going for initial start the Speedo gives me the tip code which I’m informed is for the bank angle sensor. #1 It’s been upright on a bike lift for 2+weeks #2Knock on wood I’ve been lucky enough to not have ever dropped the bike in my ownership. (Bought it new in ‘14) I’m assuming I might have jostled or even broken the BAS during my cam install. I also did a Speedo and ignition relocation and bluetooth speakers simultaneously so I was lengthening some wires here and there as needed. I’ve tried the reset procedures for the BAS as the manual recommends with no success. Turning the ignition on the fuel pump primes shortly then cuts out with the TIP code popping up on the Speedo. I’m not brand new to HD but I still have a ton learn. And tips or advice are greatly appreciated.

The Bank angle sensor is located in the BCM. If you relocated it it could be an issue. The other issue could be that your moving the electrical stuff, you managed to screw up the integrity of the CAN bus and a message is somehow corrupted / altered for devices to see it as a BAS Tip.
