New V Rod???
I thought that I was done a long time ago with changing things on my 12 NRS that I got new late in 11.
Looking through the P&A catalog at the dealer and saw the Stage II cam that stated 20HP gain at the rear wheel.
I thought as long as there were no new V Rods anymore I might as well jack this one up.
So in they went. Now I have an old V rod that acts new.

I already had a Cobra FI2000R-CL on it. All it does is alter the signal from the ECM downstream from it to increase the injector pulse to deliver 12.8 to 1 AFR instead of the stock ECM AFR of 14.6 to 1 or the H-D tuner of 14.6 to 1. So it gained more power over the original stock tune as well as the worthless SE street performance tuner.
That also saved $ not needing to run a Dyno. So I can't give a quantified number. I can say after riding it for the past 6 years it was an awesome improvement.
The closed loop tuners are no longer available from Cobra only the overpriced model that only works when the bike is accelerating in open loop which is not regulated by EPA.
