Default 2004 b

I have a chance to pick up a 2004 V Rod. Ive never rode one before, anything in particular I should look for?

I asked the same question on here not too long ago when i was in the market for one myself (health issues and winter got in the way until spring) but no one said anything about particular things to look at. All of them said the vrod is a great bike! I would look at the usual things- oil/tires/general condition- but checking the level of coolant- and condition of that using a coolant tester would probably be a good thing. Maybe the guys that own and ride them have anything to add?

Just look for the usual things that apply to any bike. One other thing I would ask is, when the last time the valve lash was checked. Every 20-25K
