im still not decided on the headlight! I dont know if it takes away the look of the v-rod.Dont get me wrong,it looks good but i just dont know,i was actually going to do the same thing but thought about it and just went with drag bars and got rid of the clamshell and went with a B model riser, still it does look real good and the more i look at urs the more im thinking about it.Are you real satisfied with the light? Is it a H.D. product? How much$.
I like it a lot, but it fits me and what I want. I completely understand your point about the stock headlight. Didn't take you wrong or take any offense to your comment. I put it on because I wanted to be different, and yet the same. Weird I know,
Crappy pictures, you can tell it's about to rain (again) but I wanted to get them on while I had the slim chance. There have been a lot of changes since the last pictures were taken, some you can see, others not so obvious

Easy that is one bad azz lookin vrod.Is that the platinum silver that jet hot has? Can you feel the difference in the heat? How much they charge you, really looks good with the frame and colors.
Nice job.

The part you're seeing is the chrome heat shields of the pipes. I do have the Sterling Silver coating and can take a picture of the pipes facing downward so you can see the Jet-Hot. It doesn't reflect like chrome but has the same basic color. The biggest advantage (besides the lack of heat that I feel coming off of the pipes) is that you can no longer see the blue of the headpipes in the clutch cover or see it outright on the rear cylinder headpipe. I can definitely feel a difference. I have burned my finger through winter gloves because I was touching the pipe for too long (about 3 seconds) but I doubt I could do that now even if I hung on to it for a hour. I'll have to look at my credit card statement for the total charge but to me it didn't matter, it was well worth it.
How do you like that platinum suspension? I was looking into it as a possible winter project while I have the rear end taken apart to install the 5 gallon tank.
