How do you like that platinum suspension? I was looking into it as a possible winter project while I have the rear end taken apart to install the 5 gallon tank.
I like the Platinum a lot. The only difficulty was running the lower air lines. I used 5/16" steel brake line bent with a tubing bender to support/protect the DOT air line underneath the rear swingarm. A lot of work but the ability to dampen the rebound of the rear suspension is worth it. There is also a hard stop at ten inches so even if the rear was to drop because of lack of air pressure I would drag the rear tire on the rear fender support.
Thanks Easy. Gonna send them my stuff this winter. I like the heat reduction benefit. I think the color would look good on my Train. Once again nice job on your scooter.

My younger Brother is looking to get into a Night Train. He has kicked around a couple of ideas and has thought about the Jet-Hotmatte black. (Then he's thought about blacking out the forks and leaving the pipes chrome. Who knows what will happen in the end)
End result is that he's been on my bike with both the stock pipes and the coated ones and says he can feel a world of difference. It's good to know that the heat reduction isevidently not just all in my head.
Nice job on the V-Rod. I tried to second you into BOTM but I guess I missed the cut-off. Hope you get nominated again. It would be nice to see a V-Rod represented in BOTM.
I just appreciate someone that put a alot of work into a good job they did on their Harley. I think its realistic to know that you probably wouldn't win however I think V-Rods should be recognized.
