i agree, the next thing is to check valve lash. These engines are pretty much bullet proof past 100k miles.
valve specs tighten as they wear on this engine. And "Re ringed" requires complete engine case split and tear down. so It actually becomes a complete overhaul,

This was her dads bike, so the history on the engine went the grave with him, I was thinking of having it re ringed and heads checked and new valve seats, make sure it's good for a long time to come
