You are trying to sell a Model that most Harley Owners dislike. Very limited audience for it

Here is the figures for you. Looks like you have it priced correctly for private sale($7,000). $8,000 was to high for a private sale as it was close to retail price. Probably will not get more on a trade.

Year: 2011
Make: Harley-Davidson
Model: VRSCDX Night Rod Special
Model Type: Cruiser
Displacement: 1250
Cylinders: 2 VIN: 5HD1HHH1B
Finance Advance: $7,480
MSRP: $14,699
Avg Retail: $8,330
Auction Wholesale $7,060
Clean Trade: $6,730
Fair Trade: $6,065

Bike had a limited market. Now 9 years old. You are searching for a special type buyer that really wants that bike. Most likely you will not them them.

When you get the price right it will sell no matter what it is, just like anything else, house, car, boat...

I see a lot of bikes just sit on Craigslist because they are not priced correctly. Sometimes you have to wait a couple of months before you get someone who will give you an offer.

Additionally it is a lot of how you word your advertisement and how much you are willing to take for the motorcycle. Correct pictures also help with the sale. Do you have a link to the advertisement? Maybe we can take a look at it and give you some pointers.
