I rode a '07 Ultra in Las Vegas for 2 days and am glad that I own a VRSC. You can feel the heat a little when the fans kick on with the V-Rodbut nothing like the heat that was radiating from the FLHTCU'sengine thatI rode.

Fans kick on around 208F, oil stays around 200F, takes quite a while standing still for the bike to get hot enough for the fans to kick on. You do not feel a constant heat wave like an air cooled and your nutsdon't get baked.......DC

thanks for the info guys, i wish harley would put the v-rod motor on the ultra's, you see i went from a sportster 1200c to an ultra i love the storage on the ultra and the comfort but the heats gotta go, it just makes more sense to me to put a water cooled motor on a touring bike, they should atleast make it an option, well thanks again.
