Divorcing my FXFBS for a Night Rod
I'm wondering a bit at the moment, both because I've done all I can in terms of preparing and customizing my Fat Bob 114,
And also because I see a guy every week with a nice Night Rod Special, so I'm interested in it, I read the tests, I look at the parts...
I understand that it's not at all the same motorbike philosophy, of course not the same engine spirit ...
Have some people made the transition from a softail M8 or even a FXFBS to a slightly older muscle bike like the NRS ?
I only ride episodically, between complicated life, complicated rhythm... But the desire to tinker with one is gently teasing me, and then this look, this line, this tire ... the fantasy machine goes into overdrive.
Thanks for your advice

Was always thinking about a Road Glide. In 2008 I pulled the trigger on a new Road Glide. Road the RG 99 percent of the time. Upgraded to a Rushmore RG in 2015. Hardly ever road the Vrod, maybe 50- 100 miles a year. Then about 2019 the fuel pump took a ****, bike sat on a lift... untill this July as I rebuilt the fuel assembly.
Since then during the week, after work the Vrod is the bike I ride. Weekends a do ride the RG.
Like you mentioned, it's a total different ride and experience with the Revolution motor.
If you can keep both, that is the way to go.
Good luck on your decision.
