Lo all!

Just got my 1st bike in 27 years...a 2004 VRSCA - Silver/Black 03 Anniversary colors with lots of chrome and 2,668 miles. Ever since I saw the Discovery Channel do that 1 hour show on the VROD...I wanted one...just had to have a little push from my local HD friends here in Virginia.

The bike is mint and from what I am seeing on this forum, I got it at a steal so good for me!

Definitely gonna change the pipes and like mostthat wanna try and capture the throaty HD sound...looking hard at the CFRs, Rinehart 2-2s and the Jug Huggers as long as I can get some torque/HP gain. I understand the Rineharts set ya back about 8HP but sound awesome. For their price, I'd expect some gain before a loss!

Just checking in...
Thanks!
BillyD

Congrats BillyD. Owned an '03 B&W Anniversary as well for almost four years. Sold it last autumn, missed it, and bought a VRSCDX this past spring. You're going to have a blast.

Thanks for the welcome!

Took this baby out today every chance I had. Damn what asweet ride! I am too overly impressed! Haven't had that much fun in a long time! The pull this VRODhas is simply outstanding. Get her up in the 4-5K range and your gone...that simple and the exhaust tonechanges rather nicely. I am simplyamazed.

Gotta figure out someidle surge I'm getting so I'll pull codes tomorrow and see if that tells me anything. Also, if I stay in 1st and staysay 10-15MPH, she bucks. So, I have a little troubleshooting to do.

Again, thanks.

Billydj, The problem your having with the 10-15mph surge is a tunning issue. If your bike is stock (ECM) any number of piggyback tunnersor are-flash will help. They are too lean from the MoCo. What stock Harley isn't.
