hey everyone!
new guy from the midwest here. second harley in my life materialized in my garage friday of last week! quite the machine, this v-rod!!!!! but NO regrets! lookin forward to some fun just watchin' the jibber jabber here. anyway, as if anyone gives a sh*t, i'm 56, and my last harley was a sportster ch...u remember those? that was a short lived experience back in 1965...only kept it 6 months 'til i had to sell it for college. then the jap bikes started humming, and now i've started a collection...that's making the assumption that i keep making enough money to store all these "toys". i'm probably not as much of an HD fanatic as most are here, and i probably PAID UP for an '03 anniversary with VERY lo miles, but i'm LOVIN' it! feels a LOT like a '98 honda su-p-e-r hawk i used to have ('til it got totalled)....DAMN!!! hate when that happens! except i think this one is faster. i'm finding out in my old age that it's tough to compete with the hi paid engineers who build these things and have decided to leave all the loud pipes and reconfiguring intakes to the pros...
