So, I was reading that the 08 vrscdx shocks are 12.65" long. Is this right? How about the street rod shocks? are they longer? I want to get a little bit more ground clearance. or all vrsc shocks the same length. Using different mounting locations to raise/lower the bikes per the MOCO's specs. My VRSC, '07 rear shocks are 12.5" C to C. The ride is terrible. I call it the "pogo" stick ride. I don't know thje internal make-up of them but I believe a gas filled and for sure the gas chamber ones would be just fine. The spring rate adjustment is not the issue in my case.
