28 tooth pully/belt kit.....worth it?

RE: 28 tooth pully/belt kit.....worth it?
How old is your bike? The original rods and european rods all had 30T till 04 or 05 I believe. Dropping down to 28 T does drop your top end, and doesn't do a thing for your bike. In fact those with 28's are trying to go back to 30's or if racing dropping down to 26T which requires some major changes.

Realistically, the 28t conversion puts the motor in the sweetspot for most riding. \\; I have a 2003 and wasn't really all that excited to put a 28 tooth pulley on, but when my GF got a 2006, well, it was a different world.
 \\;
The traffic riding on the 28 tooth was much better. \\;
 \\;
I recently switched to the 26 tooth pulley, and it is a bit highly wound. \\; It spools quickly, but cruising at 70mph puts you at about 5,000 rpm. \\; Just a bit much for me.
 \\;
I will be switching back to the 28 tooth for most daily stuff.
