Default Vrod RoadGlide

I made a similar post in the bagger section and got less than an overwhelming response. Thinking the Vrod guys may not see that post, and might find this more interesting, I'll try again....

I saw this bike at Daytona Harley yesterday. I'm thinking I want to build one & I'm looking for feedback on the idea.

I'm thinking I could have it compete for well under $10,500.

Is this something the Vrod crowd would go for?

Wouldn't it still ride like a sport bike? You wouldn't get the benefits of long distance, at least cushy long distance.

Can the brakes handle the weight? What about the suspension?

Looks interesting enough though.

I think its pretty much a joke. It would be less so if you built upon a Street Rod because it has a gas tank to support the touring premise.
