Talking New V-Rods v's Old V-Rods

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone can tell me whether the newer factory standard V-Rod bikes are lower, longer or sleaker compared to the early models?

Thanks

That's in the eye of the beholder. The older versions, 2002-2005, had 2 degrees more rake in the front end. When the first 240mm rear tires started coming from the factory, they took 2 degrees out of the trees, which would result in a slightly higher V-Rod. The fork length didn't change. The wheel base would also be just slightly shorter on these newer machines.

Hope this helps.

What they said...

But the DX (not a standard V-Rod) has the lowest seat hight of any of them.
